Attached below is the fee schedule for both common services provided by the Assessor's Office such as maps and property characteristics for individual properties as well as complex requests such as purchases of portions of the Assessment Roll, etc.  Most common requests can be responded to by the Assessor's Public Service Counter.

The Assessor's Office is required, by State law and County Ordinance, to set fees at an amount that allows us to capture the full cost of providing these services. However, we are not allowed to make a profit.  

In addition, an independent, third party consulting firm performed a comprehensive study of our fee structure, which was approved by the Board of Supervisors in August, 2003.  Periodically, the fee structure will be updated to reflect changes, up or down, in costs to perform these services.

  The Board of Supervisors approved increases to the fees charged by the Assessor for a wide range of products and services. The new fee schedule which has not been updated since 2004, will be effective July 1, 2009. The fee increases cover the increased cost of doing business during the past five years. On average, the fees increased between 3% to 4% per year.
